What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. It can remember your preferences, keep a session active or collect statistics about website usage. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way and are subject to the same rules.
How we use cookies
Essential cookies
These are required for the website to work and to remember your choice in our cookie banner. They are always set and do not require your consent.
Analytics and measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, where traffic comes from and which forms are completed. The same statistics measure the results of our Google Ads marketing. These cookies are only set after you accept them; any measurement before that is anonymised.
We also use Framer Analytics, which measures visits without cookies or storing an identifier in your browser. This measurement therefore does not require your consent.
CRM and marketing
We use HubSpot as our CRM to receive and follow up enquiries from our forms. HubSpot's script also measures which channel an enquiry came from. That tracking is disabled until you consent. Information you enter and submit is processed regardless of your cookie choice, because we need it to respond to you.
Chat and support
The chat in the bottom-right corner is provided by Chatlio. It is available regardless of your cookie choice because it cannot work without its cookies. These are set when the page loads so that your messages reach the right conversation if you start a chat. Messages you send are processed by Chatlio to provide the service.

Your choice and how to change it
On your first visit to viatel.se, you can choose whether we may use cookies for analytics and measurement. Your choice is saved for twelve months. You can change it at any time using the Manage cookies link at the bottom of the page to reopen the banner.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that some parts of the website may not work as intended if you block all cookies.
Your choice in the cookie banner covers analytics and measurement cookies, including Google Analytics and HubSpot visitor tracking. Chat cookies are not included because the chat cannot work without them. To avoid those cookies too, you can block cookies for viatel.se in your browser.
Legal basis
Cookies are regulated by the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2022:482). Essential cookies may be placed without consent because they are required to provide the service.
